Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Check That Price Ltd ("the Promoter"). Registered business details will be added where applicable.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2. Employees, agents or affiliates of the Promoter, or anyone professionally connected with the competition, are not eligible to enter.
2.3. Only one (1) entry per qualifying purchase is permitted.
3. How to Enter
To enter the competition, entrants must complete all of the following requirements:
3.1. Purchase Requirement
- The entrant must purchase a product or service through a company they found via CheckThatPrice.com.
- The purchase must be completed and fully validated by the third-party company (the vendor/installer/service provider).
- Validation may require order confirmation, invoice copies, completion certificate or equivalent proof as requested by the Promoter.
3.2. Follow Requirement
- The entrant must follow CheckThatPrice.com on both Facebook and Instagram.
3.3. Review Requirement
- The entrant must leave a genuine review of their experience with CheckThatPrice.com on a platform of the Promoter's choosing (e.g., the CheckThatPrice website, Google, Facebook, or similar).
3.4. Once all steps are completed, the entrant will be added to the prize draw.
4. Competition Period
4.1. The promotion runs from the launch date until 31 November 2026 (the "Closing Date").
4.2. All valid entries received before 23:59 on the Closing Date will be entered into the draw.
4.3. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be counted.
5. Prizes
5.1. Main Prize – "Win Your Job for Free"
- One winner will receive reimbursement of the value of the job they purchased through CheckThatPrice.com, up to a maximum of £500.
- The prize will be issued via a gift card of the winner's choosing from the Promoter's available gift-card partners.
- If the job value exceeds £500, the maximum prize of £500 will still apply.
5.2. Additional Prizes
- The Promoter may offer additional prizes throughout the competition period, also fulfilled via gift card from the available partner list.
5.3. No cash alternatives are available.
5.4. Gift card terms and expiry dates set by the chosen gift-card provider will apply.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1. Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.
6.2. The draw will take place no later than 31 November 2026.
6.3. Winners will be notified via email or phone within 14 days of the draw.
6.4. The Promoter may request additional proof such as invoices, receipts, photographs, or confirmation from the third-party company before the prize is issued.
6.5. If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days or fails to provide required validation, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7. Verification
7.1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify any entrant or entry, including proof of purchase, identity, and eligibility.
7.2. Any false, incomplete or misleading information may result in disqualification.
8. General Terms
8.1. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
8.2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete or corrupted entries.
8.3. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, suspend, or amend the competition if necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
8.4. The Promoter is not responsible for third-party products, workmanship, warranties, or services purchased through companies listed on CheckThatPrice.com.
8.5. Entrants agree that their first name and general location may be used in promotional announcements, subject to UK advertising guidelines.
8.6. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory rights.
9. Data Protection
9.1. Any personal data supplied during the competition will be processed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
9.2. Data will only be used for administering the competition unless the entrant consents otherwise.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
